Yahweh’s Word Story in John 1
Story Walkthrough
Eternal Life (1-5) – Jesus is God’s Word. God made everything through Jesus. Jesus is God’s Light, bringing Truth to the nations and defeating darkness.
Drawings: God (king) created all things (earth & stars) through his Word. Jesus (man & cross) is God’s Word.
John’s Testimony (6-11) – John Baptizer is Jesus’ ambassador. John testified that Jesus is the Savior of the World, a world that would reject him as Messiah.
Drawings: John (man & water) proclaimed the Good News (torch) that the Messiah was here (man & cross).
Redeemer & Restorer (12-15) – Many will not believe in Jesus, and remain in bondage. Those who believe are born again. They are restored as God’s eternal family.
Drawings: Two choices about Jesus (line): reject him (man & chains) or believe in him (woman & flag).
Father Revealer (16-18) – Jesus came to reveal God’s glory. We can know who God is by studying Jesus. Following Jesus leads to a life of perpetual blessing.
