Miracle Meal Story in John 6
Story Walkthrough
Good Shepherd (1-4) – A crowd followed Jesus across a lake. They wanted to be near Jesus, because he healed their sick and taught about Yahweh’s Kingdom.
Drawings: Jesus (man & cross) was a good leader (staff) who taught about God’s Kingdom (flag & crown).
Generous Boy (5-9) – Jesus tested his disciples, asking them how they could feed the crowd. It would cost a fortune. One boy offered his fish & bread lunch.
Drawings: A boy (boy) offered his lunch (sack) to the disciples (man & flame) to help feed the crowd.
Feeding Thousands (10-13) – Jesus blessed the boy’s lunch. The disciples distributed the food, and everyone ate what they wanted: 5,000 men and their families!
Drawings: Jesus multiplied the two fish and five loaves (fish & bread) through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Obvious Messiah (14-15) – It was obvious that Jesus was the Promised Messiah. They tried to force Jesus to become their king, but Jesus hid himself from them.
