Story Walkthrough
Waiting Disciples (16-17) – Jesus escaped the crowds and left to be alone and pray. The disciples waited for him. When evening came, they went down to the lake.
Drawings: The disciples waited while Jesus (man & cross) prayed (flame) for a long time alone (mountain).
Rough Waters (17-19) – When night came, the disciples decided to sail home. A heavy windstorm began. The lake became dangerous, so they tried to row to shore.
Drawings: The disciples tried to sail home (sailboat) but a dangerous storm arrived (waves & wind).
Fearless Messiah (19-20) – The disciples saw a man walking on the water towards them, and they were terrified. Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. It’s me, Jesus!”
Drawings: The disciples saw Jesus (man & cross) walking on the stormy waves (water).
Supernatural Transport (21) – They realized the man was Jesus, so they welcomed him into the boat. Instantly, Jesus transported their boat to shore.
Drawings: The disciples’ faith grew (man & faith) after Jesus miraculously moved their boat (boat & water).
