John 6 – Living Bread

Living Bread Story in John 6

Story Walkthrough

Miracle Obsession (25-29) – The crowd tracked Jesus down. They wanted to follow him. Jesus taught them not to desire more miracles, but to believe in him.

Drawings: The crowd saw the feast miracle (bread, fish, cloud) and believed in Jesus (man, faith, flag).

Moses’ Bread (30-34) – They discussed Moses feeding Israel manna in the desert. Jesus said that was earthly bread. What they needed was heavenly bread.

Drawings: Yahweh (king & cloud) gave manna (bread) to Moses (man, flame, staff) to feed Israel every day.

Live Forever (35-50) – Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life.” God’s Word, his Truth, is what sustains us, not temporary meals. Jesus taught them about eternal life.

Drawings: Jesus (man & cross) guided the crowd (staff) to understand wisdom & eternal life (shining fruit tree).

Flesh & Blood (51-59) – Jesus said the only way to receive eternal life is to eat his flesh and drink his blood. The crowd was confused and deeply offended.

Drawings: Jesus (man & crown) prepared them for Communion (bread & cup) and his crucifixion (cross).
