Story Walkthrough
Deadly Trap (1-5) – The leaders wanted to trap Jesus. They found an adulterous wife and asked Jesus for justice: to stone her to death according to Moses’ Law.
Drawings: The temple leaders (priest) wanted to stone to death (rock) an unfaithful wife (woman).
Strange Response (6) – Jesus was silent for awhile. He knelt down and began writing something on the floor.
Drawings: Jesus (man & cross) knelt down and began writing in the dust with his finger (written lines).
Amazing Forgiveness (7-9) – Jesus stood up and said, “Whoever has never sinned may throw the first stone.” He kept writing, and everyone eventually walked away.
Drawings: The leaders (priest) were blind to their bondage (chains) to Satan’s control (serpent & cloud).
Righteous Judge (10-11) – Jesus was the only one worthy to judge. Yahweh’s Son never sinned. Jesus told her, “I don’t condemn you. Go and sin no more.”
Drawings: The unfaithful wife (woman) believed in Jesus (faith) and experienced freedom (flag & branch).
