Story Walkthrough

Ascension Prophecy (21-22) – Jesus prepared to return to heaven. The leaders didn’t understand. They thought he meant that he planned to commit suicide.

Drawings: Jesus (man & cross) prepared to return to heaven (angel & cloud).

Death & Separation (23-24) – Jesus said if they didn’t believe he was God, they would die lost in their sins.

Drawings: A lost person (woman) in spiritual bondage (cloud & chains) dying in their sins (grave & grass).

Faith Invitation (25-27) – Jesus invited everyone listening to believe in what he had been saying: that Yahweh sent Jesus as his Messenger & their Messiah.

Drawings: Jesus the Savior (man, cross, flag) leading others to worship (woman, faith, branch) the True God.

Messiah Confirmation (28-30) – Jesus said they would know he truly was the Messiah when they lifted him up on the cross. Many of the people believed in Jesus.

Drawings: Yahweh (king & cloud) so loved the world that he sent us his Son to die (cross, Jesus, crown).

Make Disciples

• Pray. Listen to the story. Draw the story.
• Practice telling the story with the drawings.
• Create your own drawings to illustrate the story.
• Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal his wisdom.
• Pray. What is the Holy Spirit asking you to do next?
• Go and tell the story to someone. Discuss the story.
• Make disciples. Teach others how to hear the Spirit.
